THanksgiving break was just wonderful! Good food, good times, nice house, blah blah blah. I also saw two terrific movies : Harry Potter and the CHamber of Secrets and 007 Die Another Day.

Yes, I'm a Harry Potter fan and proud of it!!! Those movies really do rock hard core, you should go watch one, right meow!

Anywho, classes start up again tomorrow, well I should say-today considering it's 3am freakinay! I was supposed to go to bed early-argh!!!!

Everything ever happens Friday - Band ball, wind ensemble tryouts, Russian exam...and something else that I already forgot-go figure. Eh, well to bed I go. Bye bye!

I just finished watching Monsters, Inc.!!! I LOVE that movie!!! I'm so tired though...*sigh*..the sacrifices I make for hot Danish men, haha.

Anywho, I'm sitting here enjoying some Quick-n-Cheesy(I personally hate Easy Mac), pondering how I should be revising my English paper on account of it's short by 500words. Gosh darnit. Good thing I have time before the dreaded TENNNNIIISSSS exam tomorrow to finish it. It was so hard to work this semester, I just didn't want to. At all. Except in Russian, of course...my favorite class!

I NEED TO GO TO ECKERDS!!! WHO WILL TAKE ME???????????????? BAH! On a lighter note, I'm oh so excited for the band ball!!!! This should be a blast And the food better be good....30 bucks a person, freakinay.

Ah yes, snow!! It's been a terrific week! Classes were cancelled today, which rocked hard core. And math is cancelled tomorrow morning, right on! Not only that, but it's gorgeous outside (even though it's cold as crap)! The not-so-cool part is that people are without power and trees are falling and such. Everything happens tomorrow, our Russian oral exam (AAK!!!), PRACTICE BASSOON LIKE CRAZY, go to Eckerds (finally!), wind ensemble audition (AAK AGAIN!!!!), work out and steam room time, shower time, go to band ball and eat, leave band ball to pick up date...ha...go back to band ball and have fun dancing, go to parties!!!! OOOhhh my. Maybe I should go to bed. Ok, sounds good.

Life is good. This week has been pretty interesting. I don't remember much happening before the storm wednesday that made everyone lose power. No class on Thursday and what not. Too bad my dorm was the only one without power, i didn't get to shower until today. Yesterday i got a haircut and a cat scan. Fun Stuff, which was then followed by the band ball. The band ball worked out a lot better than i thought it would. I got to be there for all the segments i wanted to be a part of. Our group was fun, and my two dates rock. Tognight i'll prolly go hang out with some trumpet peepz, then tommorow is super i know my caculus study day. My calc exam is 8am Monday (YAY). Winter break is like 9-10 days away. I still want to go camping with people at the begining, but i don't think we have time to set it up at this point.

HI - so the band ball was real fun, danced with some folk (including one particularly hot folk....person...yeah) the slideshow was pretty groovy minus that one picture of me and Laura ooooooooooooooh deeeeeearrrrrrr that was bad. Anywho, the real fun part of the evening was the party afterwArds at Lacey's.
We stayed up till about 4ish having a GREAT time soo much laughter, then fell asleep, woke up at like 10 or some ridiculous hour like that at the crack of butt, then went to our rooms and slept till about five Sat. night. I woke up in a time warp, that was crazy stuff

So then that night we went to the holiday concert with the jazz bands, choirs, including the gospel choir. I had the BEST time, they were incredible!!! The people I was with didn't enjoy it too much but oh well. So I was in an odd/saddish mood so I separated from them and hung out with random people, cleaned the room, hung out with Melissa, then we had a "mini-party" in our dorm till....4, again. Alas, who needs sleep?

So I think I'm the only person without an exam tomorrow - I don't have one till Thursday actually. That sucks and rocks at the same time b/c I'll be bored, and I have an exam on the last day (argh!) but it's cool, at least they're spread out. Hopefully I'll be goin to see 8 Mile on Wed. night, right on.

Things have been interesting the last couple of days. I spent all day and night Sunday studying for calc. Upon arriving at the test after sleeping this morning i find it in a completely different format than all the past tests. No partial credit problems, instead a bunch of multiple choice questions with like 20 answers to chose from. So i have no idea how i did on it, and i'd really like to have an idea. I've been trying to pass calc for 3 semesters now. After that i slept for 5 hours until my roomate woke me up with the light and tv on at a high decible level. He is an awesome guy, and this is the only thing that ticks me off about him. I guess he just assumes that if im sleeping during the day i should a deal with it. I don't have any exams until Thursday now, which is a bit of a break.

I spent all of tognight playing games and relaxing. I put a lot of thought into friendships. I realize that i really put a lot into them, and expect to get the same in return. What i never seem to learn though is that no one ever really puts that much back into them. It drains and dismays me to openly see that I am not respected like i respect other people. After awhile it just ticks me off, when i should let it go and move on. Bleh, is having a group of friends you can depend on really that much to ask for? off to bed in any case, i have a day packed full of procrastination ahead of me.

Today was just a lovely day!!!! Still no exam, so we slept in then went to the mall!!!! I absolutely LOVE Crabtree, that's the nicest mall I've ever been in.....yes-nicer than Somerset!! *gasp* I know, hard to believe.

So we got most of our friends' presents bought. Laura and I bought joint presents b/c we're both poor college students, you know how it is. But I'm real excited to give them their gifts!!!! Too bad I'll be the only person here on the 17th or I'd have a gift-giving party.

Tomorrow's plan is to get up, work out, get shots (eek....flu and menningitis), return books for $$$$$ , then go see 8 mile, WOO! Tomorrow looks like a good day(knock on wood).

I have been in my room since 10am on monday. Its wednesday now, yea. I went outside a bit ago, and FYI its still cold out there. Just so you know, though. I didn't really do much today, as i woke up at 8:30 watched the movie Citizen Kane with my roomie (he had to see it for film class and i had to set it up for him on his computar). After that i went back to bed and woke up at like THREE PM. Since then i've been doing my relaxing stuff like playing games chatting and watching movies (robin hood men in tights this time). Am i really this boring? crap, off to bed.

Today went ok. I got up at 9 and studied till French, then took that, then studied Com, then took that (was supposed to be our third test but was twice as long as normal tests). Tognight was relaxation. Tommorow is Econ after another morning of study. You'll hear how that went later on! If you want to see that drumline movie tommorow lemme know.

I LOVE Christmas!!!!!! Everyone's so happy and joyful(well, most everyone...)! There's one friend of mine who is worrying me, he's been sick a lot lately and seems like he's having a really rough time in general - if you know who I'm talking about, let him know you care, he's one of my best friends

Soooo...I have one more exam left (Psych...ARG), and a paper...double ARG!!! Oh well, until then all I have to do is study, write, and bum around, wee. I went to see Drumline last night w/Lacey and Travis and Larry, but no success - completely sold out, ALL showings. It's cool tho, I'll go see it with Hillary, (maya ceoctra). speaking of Russian, the exam wasn't too bad, page and a half translation, but not too incredibly difficult. Math took me twooooo hooouuurrrsss. TWO HOURS of THE MATHEMATICS OF FINANCE!!!!! OH the humanityyyy!!!!!! Ah, well it's done and I'm finished with math at 8:05am, what was I thinking?

8 Mile was SOOOOOOOo good, I was real impressed at its good-ness hahahaha. There's something else I want to write about, but I won't for the sake of superstitions and embarassments, but let me just say, "heeeheheeeeheheheeeee".

so . . . Laura's eating lunch w/Chuck and his parents right now, let's hope the ending result of lunch is Chuck being here in January!!! I'm off to Subway now, then who knows what the night has in store for me?

I'm up late. I took econ on friday and did pretty well i think. Later on in the day i saw Drumline with some cool peeps. It was an average funny movie... nothing too incredible. Then the power went out in the night so i didn't wake up in time for the womens bas-ket ball game at 1. I did manage to make the mens game, which was packed into reynolds coliseum. On the short fight song where the trumpets run around the court playing i busted my ass in front of a few thousand people. I can now say i've embarrassed myself publicly. After the game i drove back to Chapel Hill to hang out with my two best friends. We chillaxed and watched Panic Room, which was pretty good. Since then i've been back here pondering the many intricacies of life. whoa

i'm home. thrilling, yea. Home isn't as thrilling as my grades. I was sure i'd end up with a D, and none of my classes let me down. NO d's is superb. So with that good event i'm feeling great. I saw equilibrium tognight which was an interesting movie. I could kind of see why some of my friends liked it and how some of them thought it blew hardcore. Hopefully well see two towers sometime this week as well. I don't plan on doing much this break, and sleeping is a top priority. So off i go!

yea, so i think i've been getting toooo much sleep lately..I've been trying to sleep since 3:30 but to no avail. Usually i'm so sleep deprived that i'm not awake more than a minute, especially at home in my comfy bed. I need to stop waking up mid afternoon, it is getting old..

Hmm lets see, I've seen the two towers twice since i got home. That movie is badass, i liked it a lot better than the first LOTR movie. Ever drop a piece of food on the floor and cant find it? Damn i hate that. My friend apu got a ps2, we have been playing mad tony hawk 4. That game is so much fun, and i can never keep track of time when i'm playing it either. Tommorow is the day before christmas eve, which means i need to start considering possibly maybe starting my christmas shopping. Christmas on wednesday.... I asked for a futon, and it is sitting in the garage (yay for surprise). Later on in the week is the bowl trip, which is going to be so much fun, i can't describe. I'm wide awake right now.... and its the middle of the morning for pete's sake. I'm either gonna stay up until the morning or try to go to bed again.

so yea, it is Christmas Eve, and i woke up at noon today which was really early. I didn't sleep Sunday night, and i was tired all day yesterday as a result. I went to bed at midnight though, so i caught back up. I'm looking forward to christmas tommorow morning. We used to wake up at 7 am and start the festivities, but i think i'm gradually conditioning them to move that time later. This year we awake at 9. Yesterday i watched Last of the Mohicans, The Mexican, and Almost Famous. Today on the agenda is a bit more shopping, wrapping, dinner, church, and then sleep at an early hour prolly. Let me know if you read this journal, i think i'm talking to myself.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I am posting on Christmas. It is the lull right now, between opening presents and enjoying them. My family always gets done opening gifts early on because we all wake up so early. I made a big fuss about waking up at 9, then i go and wake up at 7:30 anyway. This year my big gift was a futon. It is going to be so cool to set it up in my room, but i cant really do anything with it until the new year. Most of my other gifts revolved around bedding for the new futon. Also got some gift certificates, pistachio nuts adnauseum (mm i love em), and CD supplies (tons of cdrs and cd binders). Yay for consumerism and family and good times. Hmm don't really have a whole lot to do with this stuff, so maybe ill go play a game. I can't wait to go spend some gift certificates, but today will be packed in stores, so i'll wait.
