WOO!!! What a weekend!

So Saturday, THE COOLEST GIRL IN THE WORLD (Danielle, needless to say), came over here to visit! We hung out and ate lunch at Subway w/Chuck and Tyrone and Allen (HI!), then she decided to stay longer! She went to Jim and Jason's party with me It was SO much fun! Unfortunately she had to leave early, but it still rocked hard core!

Now about the party . . . there was definitely (I always spell it definately -I still don't know which is right), a LOT of drinking! I had a grrrrreat time though! I played the WORST hand of spades, followed by the BEST hand of spades! We BEAT JESSICA AND JDUB!! YOU GUYS ARE NOT AS COOL AS ME AND TISHA!!!! Ok sorry, that was payback

So then today, after waking up with a wee bit of a headache. . . :-/, I went to Eckerds w/Meghan! It was muy fun, we turned in our cameras then killed an hour and a half at best buy and Plato's closet. Ah yes, good times. It was a gorgeous day, btw! tho cloudy, very pleasant.

I then went to Pullen Park (idyu v pullen parke for all you Russglish speakers hahhaa) con Jdub which was a lovely experience, I had never been there before.

THEN . . . I went to the *sigh* Maryland game. Stoopid Steve Blake. grr! It was going SO well!!!! Then we lost BY ONE POINT!!!!!!!!! oh the humanity! It was an awesome game though, and I had a splendid time!

That's about it, tho I feel like I have more to say, d'oh well.

So today was a lovely day, the weather was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Spanish . . . woo woo, then ate in the Atrium as usual, then went to Pullen Park again, and had a great time! Then wind ensemble, crazy crazy eighth notes AH! And Alan Webb was there! I just walked in and there he was?!?!?!? ::whoa:: It was crazy, but real nice to see him

After dinner helping Laura study for her Mu Beta Psi stuff, I went on THE BIGGEST CLEANING FRENZY EVVERRRR!!!!!!!!! I didn't plan to, it just happened! I dusted, swept, washed dishes and windows, shook the rugs, organized my desk, did some laundry, and washed my sheets etc. Then afterwords I wanted to go to the Quintet concert but all of a sudden I was nauseated and had a horrible headache - probably from so much pledge and dust and dish detergent. I wish I could've gone, I bet it was awesome!

So then I went over to Lacey's for a night of chillin before this week which is gonna be FULL of work! Oh yeah, and I'm giving up pop for Lent. All in all it was a splendid day

Ah yes, today was a very productive day! I went to *yawn* history . . . just THINKING about it puts me to sleep! It's not necessarliy boring stuff, he's just so . . . boring! Not only that but he's obsessed with himself and wears the same shirt everyday. hmph.

So after history I walked to cameron village. I was planning on taking the bus but I'm a loser and I missed it, so I walked instead. I got my pictures developed (AHHAHAH!!! you must see them!), and did some much needed grocery shopping! It was a very pleasant experience and was relaxing minus the fact that crossing streets stresses me out and I had to cross like 69 streets, AH!

Then I went to MEA and finished lab#4! I came back and did lab #5! I'm so glad I got those out of the way I'll be missing lab on Thursday for BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I saw THE MOST GORGEOUS DRESS IN THE WORLD in Marie Claire(magazine), and I HAVE to go buy it! I figure I should splurge on at least one or two things, because if not then life's no fun, ay? So I plan to stop by the Limited and buy it tomorrow if someone takes me to the mall It's only $70 - not incredibly expensive, but not cheap.

I am currently working on my inquiry notebook, and hopefully I'll finish that tonight. I did something bad tho.....I ordered stuff off Sephora Online I couldn't help it! I know, I'm horrible. But they gave me free shipping and free gifts and I love it and . . . I'm sorry. I'm ok though, and I'm going to save ALL the rest of my money, I already put some in my savings account

Come watch 'Musical Mayhem' bowl tomorrow night @ western lanes! WOO!

SEVEN HOURS OF HOMEWORK!!! I swear I'm having flashbacks of IB. That was crazy yo. Granted it's all early and wasn't necessary, but I got it all done and it feels GREAT! woo! and on that note, I'm gonna read a magazine and hit the sack

This day was INSANE. It started out as a beautiful day, the weather was awesome! Then it started to SUCK hard core. . .

First of all, Mike Sheldt died. I only knew him from saying hey in the halls and a couple conversations, but he always had a smile on his face and was such a talented and sweet guy. It's such a tragedy that the world has lost him, but then again I think Heaven just needed another angel. I think God was confused too, it was a beautiful day for the addition of such a great person in Heaven, but there was overcast for the world below as we mourn his death. . . Pray for his family and friends, please.

Then some other stuff went down with family and friends and I was in a very "grr!" mood. So after band (with a cameo from Jessica, Laura nad I went to the mall!!!! The bad news was that they didn't have the dress in my size I was SOOO sad! It's the most beautiful dress in the world. But . . .

I think it not being there was a blessing in disguise: rather than paying $70 for the dress then more for matching shoes, we went to Wet Seal and I got THE CUTEST SPRING CLOTHES!!! I finally got a short jean skirt - ow OW! scandalous!!- and a couple tops, earings, sunglasses and what not. Tho I don't know how I feel about the shades right now.

The moral of the story is that shopping and Laura being there to cheer me up made my day that much better I can't wait till Blast!!!!!

After the mall Jdub and I went to watch Meghan, Tisha, Steve, and Alex bowl It was fun, and they did grrreat! WOO!

Now I head off to bed - early, yet again! ::whoa::

Today was a lovely day I went to FREAKIN history (boo!). Our teacher, who's obviously a Democrat preached for the last 30 min. of class about politics and blah blah bb.b..b..b..lah (hahah Laura). I don't even like politics, and it ticked me off! BAH!

So anyway, I then came back and took the best nap ever! Even though I had a scary dream it was a nice nap. Afterwords I went to the gym which was a good experience except for the ppl running in front of me - the chick that awkwardly kicks out her feet to the side and the dude with just ONE squeaky shoe!! I eventually sprinted like heck to get away from them hahahha.

No package today but tomorrow!!!!

So then I got all fancified and we went to Fountain (YES! I got a salad!!! mmmm) to celebrate Anson's b-day for -0.69 seconds, which was fun. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANSON!

then . . . get ready . . . we went to BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!!!!!!! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW AMAZING AND WONDERFUL AND INCREDIBLE THAT WAS!!!!!!!! That was by far the coolest thing I've ever been to, it was awesome. If I was good enough at mello. or baritone I'd definately strive to be in Blast. Too bad they don't take bassoons, hahah . . .ha.

After Blast Jdub came over and hit innocent bystanders with the bouncy ball . . . yeah, then we went and played spades w/Jessica and Steve! First it was Jessica and I against them two, and WE WON! WOO!! then we decided me and Steve vs. Jessica and J, which was THE LONGEST GAME OF SPADES IN THE WORLD!!!! I just got back, and it's 4:30, oiy! so many bags and so much nil and so much intensity! Steve and I won!!! WOO AGAIN!!! I was so tired tho, I'm surprised I was able to stay up. Good times

On a different note - I don't know how I'm getting home for spring break (argh), I've had SOO much water today due to lack of pop as well as addition of exercise, ha - go figure.

So tomorrow I'm off to home. Laura and I were gonna take the 4:05 train, but - being that we have to be out of the dorm by noon, we decided to take the 7am.

Hopefully I'll be getting a car this week and hopefully "the nice shop" ie. my mom, sister and I will be going somewhere warm. That'd rock hard core.

I just saw Cradle2the grave w/Jdub and it was grrrreat! Quality movie, lots of action but at the same time lots of 'awww!" well, for me at least. Little DMX and his little daughter! so small! tears are EVERYWHERE!!!!!!

This is me leaving, getting 2 hours of sleep before we gotta bounce.

so yeah, Laura and I definatley/definitely walked (or tried to walk) to the train station hahahha! ALlen's such a peach! sorry bub, we love you! (he came searching for us on Western at 7am) heehee

Basically all break I've been 'domestic,' cleaning, cooking and what not. We swam in Lisa's pool, that was SOOO great! A heated pool under the stars, how wonderful!

Other than that not much else is goin on. I think we might be goin to virginia to visit my dad, but if we don't I'll probably just chill here for eternity hahhaha. I hope you all have a great break! much love

well hey there! I should be doing my history paper right now . . . but I do have a good 3 days of procrastination left

Spring break was relaxing and I had a nice time being with Mommy, Hillary, Taz, and Belle! So now I'm back to the same ol routine . . . class, sitting around, random plan at night, more class, no sleep blah blah blah, you know how it is. I wanna do something crazy like skydiving or driving to California randomly. oh well, maybe some other time.

My Dad, who recently sprained his knee running a 10K (poor thing), is graduating from the National Academy in Quantico this week! I really wish I could be up there to see him graduate but dern college got in the way. He and my Mom are coming down and staying the night this friday, so that should be fun

Today is the strangest day . . . everyone feels that way (that I've talked to), it's like we're in the matrix or something. Maybe it's the weather or maybe it's the war, no one knows?!?!?!

Well I'm gonna go wallow in self-pity because I can't go to Oklahoma with the pep band but alas, such is life. You have yourself a grrrrreat day!

I need to go to the library! I HAVE to do well on this paper!!!! GRR! but it's all good

Today was a very strange day . . . but then it turned good I had the most fun dinner ever!!!! I ate in Talley w/Charles, Johnny, Klara, Jessica, Meghan, Steve, Tisha, and J. I had a blast!!! Tomorrow we're goin to Darryl's to take advantage of that burger deal, so that should be fun!

Afterwords I sat in Price for a bit and had an excellent conversation w/red-head John. He's a very interesting person and has a great taste in music. He reminds me a lot of my sister as well as some people I hung out with in high school, so I enjoy talking to him.

After that, Jdub and I hung out for a bit which was very nice I missed everyone so much over spring break! Now I'm sitting here looking for any excuse to not do homework, but I'm running out of excuses. . . *sigh* I guess I should go get started.

Pray for America and for all the soldiers overseas fighting for our country. Where would we be without them? God Bless America, I hope this ends quickly with as little damage(to anything or anyone) as possible :-/ I'm skurred!

hola! So this week is officially over for me All done with my work! That history paper was so frustrating, not because of the topic, which was very interesting actually. . . just the freakin restrictions he puts on it. "you're only allowed to use these 2(HORRIBLE) sources, you can't talk about the evolution of the city-states, just what people (ie. ME) viewed them as" . . . can't wait to get into religion in that class, ooooh dear!

So about the war, it's so scary!!! I don't want to get into a discussion about it though because I saw what happened in Marley's journal, man I hate politics! I do agree though that not everything is black and white.
It's strange though, it's bringing back memories of when my mom was in Desert Storm, hazy videos of bombing at night, VERY scary, I can only imagine her fear. . . I know quite a few people over there and it makes me nervous, so please keep our troops in your thoughts and prayers!

That's about all I had to say right now. My 'rents are stoppin through Raleigh tomorrow night which should be interesting. YAY for Daddy graduating from the National Academy!!! With crutches, even!

so I just went for a two hour walk by myself . . . I know what you're thinking : YOU IDIOT!!! YOU'RE GONNA GET BUTT-RAPED!!! But don't worry, I took necessary precautions.

Anywho, I couldn't sleep or relax for whatever reason. I went a lot of places and figured stuff out and I can breath a sigh of relief NOthing was really wrong, I just wasn't content with things and blah blah yadda yadda. So anywho I think it's bed time. . .

ok so yesterday sucked really bad. I had a really difficult day and night. . . but then after not being able to sleep, Allen took me and Laura to McDonalds and we watched Road Trip! I was def. up till 7am!!! I love all my friends

Then today I almost didn't see my parents. . . they were just gonna leave b/c they kept trying to call and by the time I got up it was late. But we decided to go to IHOP, and Lacey, Travis, and Laura came along! It was really fun I got to see my little Belle! It's a gorgeous day today and everything's going to be ok.

At least I finally figured out why I felt so weird that night and went on my two hour walk. And even though I was wrong about quite a few things...my head is clearer

Life is hard, but without hard times I wouldn't appreciate the good. Also, where one door closes another opens So lets hope something good happens soon. . .

another rough night, but all my friends are so awesome to me all the time, I'm so lucky! It was deemed "Katrin Appreciation Day" today, March 22nd!!! WOOO! My own day!!! I love you guys!!

It was weird, I saw the most Volkswagons EVER today...and every time I saw one(mostly Jettas!!!), it made my day that much brighter! I also saw one of the best looking Passats ever. Then while in the car driving everywhere, Led Zeppelin was ALWAYS on the radio!!!!!!! When "Ramble On" came on I was SO excited!!!! Then "Over the Hills and Far Away," and "Black Dog." Wherever there is Led Zeppelin there is happiness those songs, those cars, and my friends made my night a lot better than I anticipated


I figured something else out too. . . that day I went on the walk would have been Riff's birthday, that might be another reason I felt funny. I loved my Biffly ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COREY!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

I am in THE BEST moood!!! I got very very drunk last night...heehee...and I prob. shouldn't say that in here, but it's the truth Larry and Corey helped me to my room then I fell RIGHT asleep! I didn't even feel bad when I woke up this morning So then Laura and I went tanning, and I'm tan!!!! I'm still workin on it tho

We then went to MEA, the most boring class EVER, which sucked but now I'm on my way to have fun w/Lacey, Travis, and perhaps some others!

Matt's comin tomorrow!!!! He's stayin through the weekend!!! We'll definitely be partying ALL WEEK, so holla if you wanna join!!! I can't wait to see him later guys!
