so I'm really tired of being alone in this house ALL the time. EVeryone stays at their boyfriends and what not and it's SOOOO scary and big and dark here by myself And also REESE IS DRIVING ME INSANE!!!!!!!! This cat is a crackhead, I swear. She makes weird monkey-llama noises and won't stop molesting me!!!

and now that I'm done ranting . . . I finally finished birthday shopping for everyone. I tend to over-do presents for people. My parents tell me that all the time, but it's just money, really. (I know I'll regret saying that next time I can't afford a biggie sweet tea from Wendy's hahah)....anywho my classes went well today. FLS 308 was great, Leslie and Katie are in that class!!! YAY! that's so awesome There's a teacher in there getting requirements out of the way...needless to say she speaks perfectly and makes me feel like a butthead. As well as Puerto Rican dude, who is not only HOT but speaks SO fast and well...so I'm a butthead once more hahah

soc 202 was awesome. My teacher is a black woman with a tongue piercing, had dredlocks for 2 years, has a huge African tatoo, and is a lesbian. We had a huge discussion today and everyone is so interesting in there. We talked about stereotypes and what not, which is so great because there are so many types of people in there...here we go:
A Colombian
A Black single mother
An Asian gay man
A Indian girl
White upper class people
White lower class people
A football player (hahah)
Black upper class woman from New York
And the funniest dude, Ash - who looks Mexican but is actually Asian and is from New York - he tried to hook up w/the teacher's daughter but she says it "depends on his grades" hHAHAHHA I thought that was great.


Anyway I gotta stop procrastinating and do my homework then get to bed because I'm dog tired

hey guys! so I've been real busy lately. . . I go to class till 1, then grab some lunch, usually followed by errands and some TV, maybe a nap, then I make dinner for "the fam" or one of us does, then I have 290374092384 hours of homework to do, then I go to sleep early while everyone else plays Spades and throws back a few beers.

ONE MORE DAY TILL THE PARTY!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I am SO excited, if you can't tell. I love parties, I love entertaining, and I love my friends! (and celebrating their birthdays!) You BETTER be there, it's gonna be the jump off for real...we'll probably have a keg of bud light, and maybe some PJ, if you wanna take shots of whatever you'll probably have to bring your own stuff. But you don't have to drink to have fun at this party, there will be plenty of music and plenty of people!! WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

so Lacey's birthday party was pretty fun....the keg ran out early but I think most people had a good time. The problem was there were so many different groups, and none of them meshed or anything. We had the lifguards, the "family"(of course!), the hippies, the thugs, Jason Myatt and crew(hahaha), the band dorks, and the people no one knows so they just say 'hey' to.


I tried soooo hard to walk around and mingle so the groups would mesh but oh well, I think it wasn't a failure, but definitely not one of our best parties. I'd like to say a special thank you to Brad, Billy, and Jodi, who I did not think would show up. WOO! thanks guys

The moral of THAT story is HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LACEY NORDAN!!! WOOOO!!!!!! Any party for Lacey is a good party

Today we basically sat around ALL day.....Travis, Lacey, Matt (N.), Larry, and I ate lunch at Darryl's after getting up at about 1. Then we were so stuffed that we came back and watched the Lion King, then CRASHED. we were GONE!!! I was still tired hte rest of the day.

We had some Dairy Queen, played some spades, and I played my first game of Madden!! YAY! I won too! I used the Steelers, but I think Matt (M.) let me win...I dunno.

Tomorrow we gotta drive over to Fayettville, and I have a project to do, but I wanna try to entertain b/c look at my horoscope:

Last night was insane. Lots of hustling and bustling, lots of nervousness, lots of new things, lots of feelings, and lots of sleeping. I missed class this morning, but it was definitely a good idea.

My job interview is Thursday....the THIRD one! If I don't get the job I might pull my hair right out of my head, say 'screw it' and go apply at the record exchange where I probably belong hahahha

Guy in the orange shirt was over last night....I love orange, especially on men. He does have a real name now but we'll stick to the orange shirt alias. Anywho he's a zepp, incubus, and bob marley fan.....AAH! but we'll see. It'd be so awesome to even have a friend who enjoys the same music as I do....I left all those behind in Charlotte

Things feel weird right now, and I can't explain why.....I feel like something's about to change, and I don't know if it's good or bad - but I guess we'll find out?

I'm goin home this weekend to relax and re-energize. My soc class is still cool, albeit very hard work (and lots of it), while my spanish class absolutely SUCKS. I was raised in a military/police officer family, taught my whole life the importance of being proud of your country through thick and thin, then I get to this class of anti-Americans who sit there and bash the US and George W. the whole time. I want to speak up but not only is it hard to argue politics in espanol, it's 12 against 1.....but unless I say something I guess it's 12 against 0.


Anywho, I'm off to bed, craving a glass of suttletea, and hoping that the change is a good thing

so hey there. . .. I didn't get the job at Best Buy The dude said (the general manager freakinay) that he was ready to hire me right there on the spot...>BUT marching band preventing me from working Saturdays killed me. He said "weekends are our bread and butter and we need people that can be here Sat. and Sun."

ROAR!!!!


oh well . . . at least he was gonna hire me....I guess :-/

In other news today SUCKED. It was so hot and I can't use my air because my engine freaks out and gets all hot and bothered (get it? like it's hot?haha....ha.)

I just hope I can fix the air b/c my last car (Vladimir the Sable) didn't have heat OR air....in the winter I had to use a space heater and a blanket hahahhahah....and in the summer I rolled down all the windows and stuck my left foot out of the window, lol....at least those windows were automatic. But I do love the Katmobile, don't get me wrong

I also think my toe is broken for real, my freakin Ralph Lauren sunglasses are broke (but still useable), people are being gay, and I have to go to bed now and wake up at 8 agian. But that's ok, I don't mind it really - I usually take a nap, and it'll get me ready for the fall. I might go to the gym tomorrow, I'd like to play basketball tomorrow, so if ur free after 11:40, let me know

the good news is I think I can eat at Subway tomorrow! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOOOOOO excited! mmmm....subway

I came home to find Reese in the dryer today (??????), which was needless to say, very odd. I finally rescued her after searching for the hidden meow and she scratched the CRAP out of my thumb, but it's ok...she was scared.

what a lovely weekend I had! I went home Saturday morning to see my family and sit in the hot tub (a.k.a the hot hollerins). Jackson is SOOOOOOO big now!!!! But still as cute as can be, I love that dog Belle is cute and insane as always, and Taz is senile, but still the greatest dog on the face of the planet.

Saturday night my dad had to work third shift, but I made spaghetti for the family and it was delicious - it's always very nice to sit and eat dinner with the family after being away for a while

My sister, mom and I (and the poodles) then went to Lisa's house (my mom's lifelong friend...they've been friends since 2nd grade! My mom's 43 now, isn't that insane?!??!) I always love Lisa's house, she has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a bird. Betty, her Great Dane is so huge but think she's a lap dog, it's real funny.

ANYWAY, she has a pool so Hillary, Richie, Shane and I all played Marco Polo, Colors, and Sharks and Minnows. I can't explain how much fun that was!!!!! I haven't played those games in soooo long, it was like a flashback! I was so relaxed and happy when I left there...her pool is heated, which is an added bonus Needless to say, I was always it and couldn't win, just like old days hahahha....

Sunday I slept in for the first time in FOREVER which was refreshing. Daddy was off, but slept in most the day b/c of third shift, so I didn't get ot see much of him. But Hillary and I rode around in the Katmobile and had good times. The highlight of the day, besides subway, was SITTING IN THE HOT TUB!!!!!!!


can I just tell you . .. . how...wonderful that was! It seats 6 people, has the greatest most insane massagy thingies that make your back feel sooooooooooooooooooooooo good! There's also lights that fade into different colors, which adds to the hollerin experience I didn't want to leave, it was so great! You guys HAVE to come sit in it some time!!!!

My ride home sucked, but that's a long boring story - then I got here at about 11:30 and had to do homework till 2 - freakinay! It's cool though, I got it done and I shouldn't have any for a couple days Maybe I can actually be social this week!

well . . . we all know how I am with hiding my emotions. So yesterday a lot of my stress from this whole dern month had built up and the only thing I thought I wanted to do was get drunk and not worry about it. HA - bad idea! I just don't like "talking" about my "problems" with anyone....anyway I did something embarrassing, or said, rather. I don't often get drunk....but when I do I tend to say things that I shouldn't.


anyway. July has sucked, but it's cool b/c AUGUST is coming up!!! WOOO!!!! and you all better be coming to my birthday party!

Friday I'm going to wear my favorite dress and go apply at my favorite store in the WHOLE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!! What store is that? SEPHORA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's my #3 dream job, sadly enough. I love makeup, not necessarily wearing it, but using it. Makeup can transform a person, a mood, an outfit, an attitude. I really want to (#1 dream job) do makeup for movies or Broadway or something, but taht's about as realistic as my #2 job, writing for the Rolling Stone.

The good news is if I do work at Sephora, you guys will be getting perfume or cologne a lot from me

I have to go home again this weekend, because of a family emergency, but I'll get to see my family again and maybe this time Daddy, Hillary and I can go see a movie

I'm really tired, so I reckon I'll take a nap...then wake up and try to do some of my homework (THE MOST HOMEWORK EVVVEEEEERRRRRR, 1 paper, 3 chapters to read + questions, and another (XC) paper - EEK!) so I won't have to worry about it this weekend.

Here I go updating yet again...I know I've been updating like every 0.47 seconds lately, but when I can't sleep it's what I do cuz no one's online! I took a 3 hour nap earlier and therefore I'm not exactly tired right now....we do have 209374203984 people over, but I know if I go back downstairs I won't go to bed till....oh about 4am, so yeah.

Larry and I just played 3 games of spades together, and won 2. THe first we played to 500 and did really well, the next we played to 350, went negative then had an awesome comeback, the last was to 350 as well and was the closest game of spades EVER! They were up by 1 point and we had to set them but could only get 5 (I think)...ther ewas NOTHING we could do! Oh well, it was a great game, and my record's a tiny bit better now (I was really strugglin for a minute there)

So tomorrow I get up early, go for a run, do the best job I can with my makeup, go to Spanish, go to the mall, go to lunch (with you, then we'll see from there what my plans are.

Hey there! I got back today at about 11, and just finished my FOURTH paper for sociology, my three chapters, and my reading assignment....AAAH!

(I'm proud of myself, I thought I was gonna turn it in late, go me!)

Anyway, I had a nice time at home. I got to visit with my Mom more, and I'm happy to say she's the old Mommy again I love my family so much! Jackson tried to eat my sociology book, and had I given him 10 more minutes it would've been gone....he did a nice job destroying it, I'm guessing no buy back? haahha

my Dad, sister and I saw Pirates of the Carribbean (I spelled that wrong, didn't I?), and it was SOO good! Orlando Bloom (my #3 husband...MMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!) was in it, and this chick that looks like a mix of Natalie Portman and Winona Ryder...but the whole movie she sets her jaw so it sticks out and it was driving me insane! Anyway the movie was real good and the special effects were insane, so go see it yo

We're gonna try to have "the excitement" over tomorrow night, heeeheeheee TOo bad I don't think they play spades, oooh dear!

So about that soc paper, it was basically asking our opinion on 9/11, and I thought I was too tired to even produce a paragraph, but I finished 2(single space)pages of pure opinion and the most Patriotism EVER! I was so proud of myself....my teacher's gonna absolutely hate it b/c she's a liberal to the core, but hopefully that won't affect my grade

ummm....I saw a dead Zebra on the highway today, for real! I'm calling the zoo or something tomorrow, I swear...or driving back to see if it's really there, anyone up for a mini - road trip? (I'm not crazy, I promise)

In other news I made a really good CD of all male artists, it rocks my world.

TOmorrow I go to SPanish and anti-sociology...and I would just like to say (considering he'll probably never read this) that Julio is probably 75% of the reason I go to Spanish at NEVER O'CLOCK in the morning because his Cuban hotness is beyond comprehension.

. . . HOWEVER, just as with any other hotness, I stutter and just look, but nevertheless he is an "attendance boyfriend" (thanks to Melissa for the term!). I might have to ask him to tutor me some time heeeheee
