YAY! Today started to suck but then it rocked my world! After FINNAAALLLYYYYYYYYY closing the store (all by myself! go me!), I headed over to see Barefoot Manner w/E-beth, Jon Wilson, Billy, etc.

(speaking of - MUCH LOVE to Tisha & Laura & Tahben for visiting!!! I love you guys!!!!!!!!!)

can I tell you how AWESOME they were?!?!? That was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! I'm definitely joining the "following"

Afterwards we went to a party, but I was sooo pooped by then b/c of work and dancin that I left early and got lost....30min. later I was home, aaaaah sleep!

the purpose of this entry is to remind you YET AGAIN that tomorrow night is MY PARTY!!! 10ish, there will be PJ, Jello shots, and Yuengling, $5 a cup, wear a costume!!! And contrary to popular belief, EVERYONE is invited, ALL OF YOU, unless you're that real mean guy that was over here that one day, he's not invited

The game was FRICKIN AWESOME!!! GO WOLFPACK!!!! Even tho I was so completely exhausted, I still managed to dirty shuffle and scream "GO WOLFPAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaAAAACK" in my famous smoker's voice! I think because I was so tired I was extra energetic. After the incredible win, the power went out in Carter Finley, and that was insane! I thought there would be a riot or something but thankfully there wasn't


So after the game and STUPID clean-up duty AGAIN, I came home and ate my salad (mmmmm) and did some last minute setup for the party.

The party was awesome, it started out real mello then BAM everyone was there! There were a few faces I missed, but it was still a great party! I had super fun and my Playboy bunny outfit was a hit Meghan's costume was awesome, she went as a dude! I was so fooled hahahha David's costume was sooo awesome too tho, Mr. Peepers!!! He even did the apple thing - quality.

So about 2 there was a medical emergency, but I'm glad to report that she's ok now. I was definitely freaking out, and I was VERY embarrassed at my cry-age, so pardon me

I wish I'd handled it better and I wish Katie was still there, shewould've known EXACTLY what to do and we probably wouldn't have had to call the ambulance, but have no fear! I'm glad someone did b/c now she's ok

I was upset for quite a few reasons, and I wish someone had stayed for that hot minute there when I was all alone That was super scary....but it's ok because. . .

afterwards I was trying to recover and Laura (THE BESTEST FRIEND EVER) came over w/Anson and HEather to talk to me and make sure I was ok and that everything was straight, thanks guys! I put on Hercules (yeah comfort movie) and slept in till about 10 at which point I woke up nauseated (yuck) and had to brush my teeth and what not. I went back to bed until 3 b/c I thought I was gonna have t work tonight, but I decided to call in sick b/c ::whoa::

So now I have to go do some cleanup, and I still have more than a gallon of PJ left (Eeeewww) so let me know if you're up for a mini-party haha....

well hey! Sooooo today I was a complete and utter IDIOT but it's ok b/c I remembered MDS is cancelled tomorrow morning meaning I can run my errands before I have THE MOST BUSIEST DAY EVER!

In other news, I went grocery shopping, and I LOVE grocery shopping! I also love jelly belly sour jelly beans YUMMMMM and I bought some I talked to both my parents today for about 2 or 3 hours, and I loev them so much! My mom gave me a bunch of really good advice, and helped me de-stress about a lot of things And Daddy made me laugh and we talked about sports, as usual I'll probably go home Fri. after work (at never o'clock in the morning - eek!) And hopefully Mommy and I can go to the Rennaisance (I really can't spell that word for the life of me...but I can spell onomatopoeia!) Festival! WOO!

The wind ensemble concert was pretty good, but I could tell that maybe they were rushed into this concert? I don't know, they didn't seem excited/completely together or rehearsed (props to Meghan, Tisha, Anson, & Tahben) And I got to scope out my competition for basson for next semester .. . I should really get to a-practicin more

A lot of my friends are really being snappy and sensitive at each other right now, and I think that honestly, everyone needs to go home or something. We've all been around each other in the stress of school and band and what not, and you all need to take a break from each other! For real, have some me time where you lounge around and watch movies, or go home and play w/the dogs (very stress-relieving), do something! B/c everyone's so stressed, and I think we're all taking it out on each other - make love not war!

On my way home tonight there was a 10-88 (suspicious person) on Avent Ferry headed toward Western...he was ALL UP in the middle of the road and stumblin and what not. I was gonna call the police but my phone was dead as a doorknob and I figured oh well, I'll drive by in a hot minute and see if he's still there. I went to McDonald's to get some sprite (random sprite craving time), and there was a police officer in the drive thru line so I told him about it and he said he'd drive by, but I drove by as well and I didn't see him so I guess he made it home ok.

The reason I bring this story up is b/c there was a long a$$ line @ McDonald's as usual, and I had my car parked and was talking to the officer, and there was no one behidn these people, the line wasn't going ANYWHERE, and they started honking! freakinay!!!!!!!
They could freakin see me talkin to the flippin officer and they can't wait a second to feed their faces?!?!? CALM DOWN PEOPLE!!!!!! ROAR

sooooooooooooooo work sucked today as well as my meeting w/my advisor AND I missed the Arts Now Performance

And I think one of my friends is mad @ me and I have no idea why . . . . I HATE HATE HATE when people are mad @ me, it stresses me out to no end. But it's even worse when people don't tell me tehy're mad at me and I have to wonder if they are and if so, then why? AAHH!!


I'm quitting my job, p.s. - but I'm gonna work @ the campus cinema w/Meghan! YAY!

Today started off kinda bad....after I had nightmares (again freakinay), I got called by the car dude and he was like "ROAR PAY ME MONEY ROAR"and I talked to Mommy and Daddy for a hot minute and I might have a solution....we'll see. FREAKIN MONEY. If I ever get rich I'm giving all my money to charities cuz I freakin hate money.

THen people were still dumb, and I tried to be crabby but it didn't work b/c the sky was so freakin gorgeous

then I drove to Chapel Hill because it's not Raleigh to see Melinda!!!!! YAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!! We had a super fun time and went to McAlister's (yummm) and I got a ruben! YUM! (I think that's how you spell it) and I finally satisfied my craving for saurkraut (I don't know how to spell that either), which apparently I'm the only young adult that eats it EVER

Then I finally met Ursula! We laughed all night, it was awesome. And the TCBY man wanted Melinda's ovaries, then I saw some high school folk (neal and katie and lizzy even tho she was asleep), thennn we watched Clueless!

my foot hurts, can I go to the nurse?

so yay but booo, and this week sucks and I'm ready for it to be over so I can GO HOME! I can't wait

HELLO! Today was so supercalifragilisticexpealidocious!!!!

I woke up and missed Mus320 BUT MDS was cancelled....I couldn't help it! Anyway I had a leisurly morning which I absolutely LOVE, especially when there's wonderful orange juice around

So I went to Spanish which was so fun! SHe was so super nice to me (the teacher) which was unexpected but spectacular, and during class we had to write 3 things interesting about ourselves in Spanish to practice the subjunctive and what not. It was awesome b/c everyone gets to do a little bragging and also you find out how interesting everyone is!

... Or even not interesting.....(which is kinda mean but uuuh my bad) like that one chick that looks like the anorexic girl from Drop Dead Gorgeous. She's not anorexic, but her face....and I really want to laugh every time I see her but I don't b/c htat's horrendous! But the good news is she's pretty and smart so yay!

So afterwards I mingled w/some people at Price for a hot minute, then went to Buddha's Belly to find a purse. That was unsuccessful b/c it cost 29374029384 dollars for anythign there. I did however (not spend a lot of money) and got the thick but not too thick hemp I was looking for (YES!) and some purple hemp, as well as a fresh box of Nag Champa! Woo hoo!

Then I went to Harris Teeter and bought some Keilbasa - YUMMMMM Unfortunately I forgot I was out of sauerkraut and only had the keilbasa + salad but that's ok b/c it was SO GOOD! I then got to watch the non stop comedy block - holllerrrr!!!! while I ate my terrific dinner. It was soooo nice!

I then came upstairs to get ready for the jazz band concert b/c I'm a Jazz I groupie - for real. If you haven't seen one of their concerts then GO NOW b/c they rock sooo hard core. But I'm a loser and thought it started at 8....so at 7:37...ish.....I ran around and got prettied up so fast then caught the tail end of the concert. (for free!). I was SO ticked off b/c I didn't get to see E-beth sing But I'm so glad I got to see some of it at all b/c like I said - they rock! But I herad SOOOO many good things about Hobday's song, from strangers, friends, everyone! YAY for her!!!


THENNNN I mingled w/the band and went to Starbucks w/Meghan and her family! YAY! I <3 Chai Creme Frappuccinos! And also Meghan's family is so presh and so nice! Her mom was awesome and we had a lot of fun! Too bad when they left some creepy dude was kinda hititng on me b/c I wanted water...it's always the creepy ones

So afterwards I came back here and we all hung out! It was SO nice to see everyone again! All our stress is gone and things are back to normal, it was awesome Today was a day of simple pleasures, and I shall list today's simple pleasures for you b/c they made me so incredibly happy:

soooo I got off work at 1am today - yikes!!!!

My mommy told me not to drive home b/c she thoguht it was unsafe . . . .little mommy I <3 her! So I may go home tomorrow morning, depending on if someone can work for me sunday which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY!


So after finding out I'm not going home, I went to the wolfgang party, and WOOHOO! I met tons of people! I saw the 2nd hottest dude alive again, and I was going to tell him he's the 2nd hottest dude alive (even tho he has a girlfriend, he should know!), but then his gf was there and I didn't think she'd appreciate that

aaaand then I shotgunned my first beer! That's immoral and awful and illegal but it was fun so there

um first of all School of Rock was so awesome. It was SO funny and really touched me - I cried! It's definitely not a crying movie, but the fact that they integrated music, and AWESOME music at that into life so well, and made such sense out of it made me so happy! lol, I = a nerd


sooooo today I played football w/everyone! I used to go SO much last year - almost every sunday, and this year I've only been once! It's only like 5 people I know but the rest were real nice and good @ football so it's straight.

I wanted to QB real bad but I'm too skurred b/c they're all good and I don't wanna SUCK and have people be like ROAR. And also Dale and the Jew were real good so they didn't need me (the hottest QB's EVER) I did, however, make a couple good catches which is awesome b/c I suck at catching under pressure hahha
And also Tyrone is actually T.A. b/c he was a beast out there yo

But the moral of the story is I had a BLAST and it made me realize how much I miss it! it was so super fun

and tomorrow I have ABSOLUTLEY nothing to do except run 3 errands. That's it. All day. But I do have to be up early so that kinda sucks.....sizzle my cellular so I can go see the Matrix w/you or something! (b/c I need to see it!) (or Elf!!)

so hey! this morning was SOOOO stressful - ROAR! I applied @ the cinema even tho they'll probably set my application aside and I'll be stuck at Port City Java forever....but so tonight was fun!

It was gym night and we played tennis! WOOHOO! Too bad I SUCK so hard core at tennis....I just don't htink you understand how bad I am! But it was super duper fun anyway I really really really hope that we play volleyball next time! Speaking of - if any of you ever played volleyball and want to like volley w/me (not play a game)....I know that's extra-nerdy but I want to play sooo bad! Also pool - if anyone wants to play pool ever, particularly on wednesdays (hint hint meghan )

Lately I've been pondering the thought of college. I really don't know what I want to do in life, andsometimes I feel that college isn't for me. Insert lame excuse here: I feel like I got worked so hard in high school and got so burned out on school b/c of the IB program that I'm done! Either that or I need to be not in a classroom, out in the world or something. I feel like I'm not exerting myself completely and therefore I'm wasting money. Don't fear - I'm not gonna drop out ....but sometimes I really think about it, a lot. It's definitely in my blood to be a police officer, and I feel the calling a lot, particularly on a K-9 Unit, but I just don't know. Because at the same time I think about how bad I would love to just open my own dog-grooming shop, work for a magazine that I love, or be a makeup artist for movies....my dream job *sigh*

Another thing is that sometimes I think I'm in college because....you're supposed to go. Everyone goes to college, what would my family think? or my friends? I do love NC State though, the people, the school, and I definitely understand how important a college education is in today's world . . .

I don't know if I should just keep goin at it in school and hope I find out what to do, or go work in mini-jobs of said areas to see if that is or isn't my calling. Any thoughts?

so I quit my job


BUT befor eyou lecture me and stuff let me explain:

I was left ALONE there for the THIRD time. Jami left b/c her ride was there....which I guess isn't her fault b/c it was her mom and she was ticked off and if she didn't go then she would've been left (allegedly)

So I was alone from 10:30pm to 12am. I was there that late b/c nothing had been done. She took the trash out, which was good b/c that's super scary at night, but I had to do EVERYTHING. That job is awful, you should see the crap I have to do! The thing that ticked me off the most though was being there ALONNEEEE!!!! You can see EVERYTHING in that store, and I definitely don't feel safe. Melinda or Laura have to talk to me on the phone while I close b/c I don't want to be robbed and butt-raped! yikes!

so then I closed everything down and wrote her a note saying tha tI was quitting b/c I found a job closer to my house, and I felt unsafe there at night. NO ONE would ever switch with me ever, so now they have to find somoene to work friday, SO THERE

. . .. but there's still that part of me that feels awful. But honestly I was very unhappy there and it wasn't worth the measly 6.50 an hour to get burned and cut (I have a frickin 2nd degree burn on my finger from that place), to drive 20min. there, and to stay there by myself at night


SO now I'm done ANd I really hope the job @ the cinema works out! Thanks Meghan!

oh yeah.....and I got my hold removed so I could register but NO WAY did I get home in time! grrr......

YAY HOME! I would just like to say that I LOVE it here!

I got home thurs. night after a real scary drive....I was so super tired and was slapping myself to stay awake. That's quite possibly the DUMBEST thing to do but suddenly I wasn't that tired anymore so it's all good. (if my parents read that they'd kill me)

My dogs are so sweet and precious and happy to see me I love it! It's gorgeous down here with the water and the trees and everything *sigh* I haven't played pool or sat in the hot tub or built a fire yet. I reckon I could do that tonight. I've always wanted to sit in a hot tub when it's FREEZING outside.

I've actually never built a fire here ever....but that could be b/c I don't really know how

In other news I'm taking advantage of the satellite TV - woo hoo! I saw the movie Unfaithful, and ::whoa::....it's so super crazy - you should watch it

I also went and saw the Matrix w/my Dad! Yay! It was soooo good! It was kinda mushy and blah blah blah but the special effects continued to rock my world and I thought it was grrreat!

I was supposed to get my hair dyed at 11:30 today but freakin - they had me scheduled for the wrong thing, so now i Have to go back at 3, and all I have to say is they better HURRY b/c the game's on. I need to get my hair cut when I go back up to Raleigh, it's strugglin.

ok I'm not really gonna talk about your mom

Iwill however, talk about my mom . . . .and my dad. As I said before, the visit home was AWESOME! It was so relaxing and stupendous Yay parents! I'm always in such a great mood after I go home. I got my hair highlighted, w/some red in it YEE HAW! I'm gettin it cut tomorrow (at the crack of butt :-/) I got my car washed too - first time since I bought it...it looks good Too bad the bumper started to fall off b/c of the water pressure in the wash hahhaha.....But last night I sat in the hot tub & watched Finding Nemo w/my Dad MINE MINE MINE!

I had a scandalous away message up earlier and my dad told me to wash my mouth out with soap I feel bad and I hope they don't think I'm a crazy vixen up here!

I just got back from watching "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" with Meghan and first of all I <3 that movie, and second of all I <3 Meghan! It was super fun and we missed basically the first part b/c we chit-chatted. Meghan-you're so awesome! We should talk more . . you're so mature! Even if you do have CRAZY dreams

Other than that tomorrow's gonna be a busy day, and I have THE BIGGEST PROJECT EVER due on Thursday....which I hoep I'll start before Wednesday night. But I doubt that'll happen since tomorrow's gym night Volleyball!!!! you simply MUST come! contact me for more info

Today was a spectacular day

I woke up and got a haircut at Salon 21, (thanks for the reccomendation Meghan!) and it was so cute and trendy and yay for my hair!

After that I went grocery shopping, then ate lunch w/the lovely Meghan we people watched, chit-chatted, and made stupid jokes that we laughed forever over, it was awesome

Theennnnn I ran a few errands and went to Price for band...it was such a social day and I absolutely loved it b/c I love being social

then I got a parking ticked for a lot of dollars (40 to be exact). Which normally I would be real ticked off but it was such a gorgeous day I couldn't be brought down

After band I ate w/some folks which was nice, I hadn't talked w/Ryan in a hot minute. Then I came back here for a hot minute and got ready for GYM NIGHT!!!

We played volleyball, and let me tell you - it was a BLAST!! I love volleyball SO much! You guys missed a good night My team won both times which was splendid, and everybody enjoyed themselves! It's like Hardees, w/the last place to go for a burger...the last sport to play....I dunno - I quit

The moral of the story is that it was stupendous fun and we may re-visit volleyball some time soon I'm gonna start swimming tho, so holler if you wanna join. Also, we'll be playing ultimate soon so holler at that as well.

today had good parts and bad parts...it felt great outside tho! I wish it wouldn't get any colder at all!

I practiced sousa and played w/E-beth today, it was SOO fun! I got Red&White kinda, and a lil bit of the fight song YAY! And yay for Tyrone being our director and helping me! Too bad it made my shoulder sore....but that's ok b/c 1. I have to get used to it, and 2. Pain is weakness leaving the body

After a very relaxed lunch, I went to Spanish...only to find out (again) that there was a test I was unaware of. Now granted, it might be my fault, but I do go to class. I think it's b/c I'm not on the email. But I think I did ok, I completely forgot past subjunctive though - eek!

Later I went to the jazz II and III concert w/E-beth and it was sooo goood!! This chick sang part of the first song in Portuguese, which was sooo awesome! That's so exciting! And I could understand it! (not all of it, but the majority) YAY! I'm so excited about Spanish...I can't wait till I'm completely fluent. ALSO, Hobday said we could sing a spanish song in our acapella group and I can have the solo....OMG!!! Would that not be the best EVER?!?!? I think it would

Then I waited for Hobday to finish un-setting up things and played some volleyball.....in Price. First w/Tisha and Meghan, then with Erin and Julia and Robert Conway. I LOVE VOLLEYBALL!

However, only Hobday and I went to the gym tonight so we played basketball instead, on the outdoor courts, and that was so great It was beautiful weather, and even though I SUCK at basketball it was still quite enjoyable! Also, one of Kelly's friends on t he Rugby team, Chris, came and played w/us for a hot minute...she was so super nice! And she tried (the 11th person who's tried) to teach me how to do a layup...and I still can't....oh well, that's why I'm in band hahha

So then I did some more volleying w/Tyrone, and came back here to do some cleaning and what not

Tomorrow is project day all day :-/ booooo.....d'oh well

today was an awesome day! I woke up early and it turned out I didn't have to present! SCORE! The teacher was like "so is anyone ready to present today?" and I was going to raise my hand but then no one did....and w/my doubts I didn't want to be the first and only one....so I didn't raise my hand and he was just like "oh well let's do it later" hahhaa


Mus 320 was fun b/c we listened to this really awesome piece...Berlio Sinfonia - something along those lines. It was so crazy and pretty and profound and weird and awesome all at once! I loved it, and maybe that'll be my paper topic!

E-beth and I then practiced for pep band....I love sousa! It's so much fun, and I have a sore shoulder! Isn't that exciting?!??! Hopefully I'll be able to join the sousas

thennn E-beth and I came back here and took quizzes and were just bored together, it was fun. Thennn we went and got dinner w/try one at taco bell even though it was the worse taco bell EVER! Then I drove HObday and Seth over to Wolfgang practice, a spur of the moment decision, and let me tell you it was SO INCREDIBLE!

I felt like I was intruding at first b/c they're all celebrity-ish and whatnot lol but it was so fun b/c I absolutely love acapella music, I love the people in that group, and they're amazing! I got my own free concert and it seriously made my week! They rock my world

so then the Hobdays and I hung out w/Megan...I don't know how she spells it .....until we were ready to help the Grains paint the tunnel. That was real fun too! I got another free concert (but this time it was for everyone that helped) and painting the tunnel was a blast. Walk through tomorrow and see the work - but also go to the Grains of Time concert on Nov 25th at 8pm, Jones Auditorium, Meredith college (no tyrone, NOT university!)

Then I came back here to watch Billy Madison w/some of the gang

Today was a spectacular day even though there were a couple let downs (boooo on that - p.s. - Laura remind me to tell you a story)

sooo yesterday was quite interesting! A good day though I have a hott date to the band ball (holler) and an AWESOME day planned out for tomorrow...

a bunch of bad memories were stirred up - one of a past relationship and one of a wreck in the past......it's freaking me out and I probably won't be able to sleep tonight

I had SO MUCH FUN with Meghan tonight....it was awesome - love you girl!

aaaaand then people were dumb and I hate them and also men - I really hate men they "sux0r" (hahha)

that's the end of my day.....tomorrow's probably going to be even worse so whatever

yay for a capella group!

We had our first rehearsal today and it was hollerin - we sound REAL good and I = excited

I played sousa in pep band today! YAY!! It was SOOO fun and really heavy and my shoulder's sore but it's ok

and also Dr. Fuller said that if I played sousa "that'd be cool, it'd be fun" which was AWESOME b/c I thought they hated me

And also we played "naughty"minton (a.k.a. badminton) and I don't like badminton (sorry guys!....it's just too boring) but naughtyminton was real fun

Next week is ultimate frisbee! Let me know if you'd like to join

so last night was awesome...I had THE BEST time!!!!

The groups rocked my world for real.....the spartones are awesome, and that one dude from my high school threw some 311 in one of his songs and I seriously almost fell out of my chair!

The Grains of Time were incredible as usual - they're all so great!

The afterparty was A BLAST! I love all the grains, and some of the spartones showed up too THe beer was free which is a definite plus, and me and E-beth were party partners! YEE HAW!

I did so much dancing which was awesome b/c that was my goal for the night, and this one chick was so much fun to hang out with but I forget her name....

I have a drunken bruise and it's probably from trying to do handstands hahah - thanks for the help David hahha

It took me 5 hours to get home today - yikes! but that's ok, and I'm real glad to be home. My aunt Jill and all my cousins (ofthe Smith family) are comin up tomorrow! YAY! I ahven't seen them in FOREVER! It's gonna be a great thanksgiving!

let me tell you a little story about my Thanksgiving - it rocked your socks (and mine too)

So after a FIVE HOUR LONG drive to Denver, NC (yeah denver), I got home and fo und out my aunt Jill and my 3 cousins were comin up for thanksgiving! YAY! They were in myrtle beach on vacation and decided to come visit us

I was basically in charge of food, and I did the green bean casserole, brownies, corn, mashed potatoes, salad, blah blah blah......it was quite the ineresting thanksgiving. But it's always interesting in the Rahe household. My hands are so frozen I can't type!

The oven turned ofdf randomly twice....b/c we have an evil "no chicken" ghost as Jill called it....no one knows why......but then the grease caught on fire b/c the pan broke then all the other food was cold then the brownies took seven years then it was all ready by 7pm WOO HOO! hahaha

It was real fun tho, we sat in t he hot tub, then I played pool w/Charlie, then cutthroat w/Annie and Charlie. Charlie's real good at pool, and Annie could be but she's still young and what not....but I won in cut throat again - I'm UNDEFEATED at home! heehee, and still UNDEFEATED everywhere @ 9ball

I saw the movie Elf w/my dad and Hillary and it was SOOOOOOOOOO FUNNYYYYYYYYYY I heart will ferrel and you need to go see it w/me b/c I'll see it again in a second

and also the dogs are cute

and also let me know what you're doing on new years b/c you should come hang w/me @ my house - we're housesitting! yeee hawww!!!

The ride up (just now) wasn't bad, it was cold.....this house is cold.....50 degrees actually.....and I listened to Ben Folds Five - Live at the Tabernacle until Hillsborough, then Ben Folds Live (solo album) for the rest of the way *sigh* I love Ben

Band ball friday! (woo hoo!) If any eligible bachelors out there need a date, go w/Meghan b/c she's SO HOT and needs a date so we can party together
