Here goes nothin - If I type weird it's b/c I took my glasses off and I'm too lazy to go gett hem so there

So uh, I moved in to sumter square w/tori and lindesy which is good.  I love my room (now that it's . . . .. well let's just say now afte rI "cleansed" it),  although I am having a hard time adjusting to living w/people again.   I just need a little bit, you shoudl come look at my window though it's cute.  I love my kitchen!!! (with a FULL SIZE fridge, a dishwaser AND a washer and dryer!  HOTT!)   I also love my bathroom - it is large.  I think I have a cleaning problem.  It's bad really.........I'm also trying tow ork on not being so anal...I can tell when stuff is moved and what not in my room and that's scary.....so yeah I'm working on that

.....and on calling people back and following through with plans ....something I've been getting called out on a lot lately.     It's only b/c I try to please everyone and so I make plans w/everyone then of course that doesn't work so I have to piss SOMEONE off......never ends up good - yikes!

I can't wait til our porch is clear so I can put plants out there

also I hurt my arm playing disc golf and that sucked real bad but now it's better.  I'll just have to stretch always.  Also I need to go to cedar hills again and I've never been to harris lake so where you at guys?  Call me and I'm down!

Also I'm the brokest ever b/c I haven't got my FLIPPIN SECURITY DEPOSTI YET  ROARRRRR 

 . . . but it's ok b/c when it comes I'm gonna do a jig and go buy tickets to mannerland, new running shoes, and a hot night w/your mom

ummmm the greek festival was AWESOME and hillary and charlie's new place is adorable - near cotswold!   I got the most BEAUTIFUL new ring there too - you shoudl look at it

work is fun!  I kinda have a little crush on a co-worker . . . which always happens to me, but it does give yous omething to do to pass the time - talk about it w/your girl coworkers of course!   (I'm a nerd, I know)

So I guess I didn't  update after my birthday but let me tell you - it was AWESOME!!!!!!!  That whoel weekend was the best ever and I'll remember it always    Also being 21 is my new favorite past time

 ok now I really need to go to bed , I gotta get up and study s'more

I woke up this morning with "Sports and Wine" from the self-titled Ben Folds Five CD in my head and first thing this morning listened to that album and now I'm sitting here listening to s'more Ben Folds Five and I just really had to say that The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner is SUCH a good album!   Granted, all the Ben Folds Five albums are good.....but this one is so different and so consuming. . . . I can remember lisetning to it in my old Sable and just thinking 'wow.'  it's SO good! 

They're all good in different ways, the albums.....just like the Incubus CDs although I really think that S.C.I.E.N.C.E is my alltime favorite Incubus CD.

This is Ben Folds FIVE I'm talking about, by the way.  I'm sick of all the Ben Folds hype.  I liked Rockin the SUburbs and the Ben Folds Live CD....but he was 209837402384 times better when he was with Darren and Robert and I miss them     Now he's essentially got the same instrument makeup just different people - how lame is that???

That is all really.....I gotta go do some homework

p.s. - Rum Runners was super awesome!  I wish I coudl go every Wed

So work was so easy and simple and we got out SOOO fast tonight and I was SURE I'd make it to the Doves concert at the Cat's Cradle...

but I was wrong    I can't believe they played for only like an hour and a half!   I really thought I was gonna cry when I saw how happy everyone was and how much fun they had..........but I'm glad they all got to see them and had such a good time (and got their drumsticks!)

SPeaking of music.....currently a Taj Mahal and Ben Harper CD are my 2 most played CDs in my sexy sexy car (I just got her cleaned and got some purdy nice speakers . . . . thanks to Ed Jesse and John - holla!)

I have a super difficult paper due on Wednesday and I need to go to the library because I'm a lot more productive there.....so hopefully I'll actually do it tomorrow and not the day it's due.

My new running shoes are SO nice!   I got 'em for fairly cheap (for good shoes) at Foot Locker (which is 209384029384 times less expensive than the new balance store).....I'm glad I stepped out of the nike box and tried new balance because I am VERY impressed!   I also got some insoles which help I'm sure.....they're quality.

Mood Cultivation Project will be playing at the Pour House on Fri. 9/23 at 10pm ($5 advance $7 day of show) and I'm DEFINITLEY going so holla if you want to join me.  (It's 21 and up but I used to call ahead of time and let them know I really wanted to see the show and they'd usually let me in....so you shoudl try)

Also - the "Home Grown Music Festival" featuring Keller Williams and including Barefoot Manner (!) is at the Lincoln Theatre (an outdoor/indoor concert - the best kind!) on Sat. Oct. 1st - barefoot will be on at 5 so I'll probably head out there at about 4/4:30.....it's $20 advance $25 day of show - you shoudl come!   I hear Keller puts on a good show though I'll be going for the beer and the barefoot

I really wanna (finally) see Who's Bad? The Michael Jackson tribute band b/c I hear they're a blast in concert - but they're not till Nov. 19th

Ok one more ....a long shot but worth it - John Legend's playin at Myrtle Beach on Sat. Nov. 5th....anyone down?

That's about it.....I'm pretty bummed about the Doves concert (esp. since it was a wasted birthdya present that I was really excited about AND I had asked for the day off and didn't get it off) but life goes on and I'm sure they'll be around again. 

p.s. I'm enjoying my new disc....anyone up for some disc golf this week?
